Blessed be the cycles of nature, we welcome the darkness as much as the light.
I have always been exquisitely touched by the golden hour - that time when the day fades into the edge of evening. This is when the glowing light of the sun touching the earth merges with my soul, all lit up. Autumn equinox marks the equal dark and light shared by day and night. It marks the entrance into Libra season, my solar return during which I come home to what makes my soul sing. I welcome spring, I enjoy summer, but I deeply revere the fall.
May we all know the magic of fall, my favorite season of them all- the subtle, gradual shift of colors in nature, making manifest the beautiful nuances of natureās magic - they reflect the nuances of humanity itself, since nature is our mirror.
My soul sings when the sunlight of the golden hour is filtering onto leaves that are glistening in their various colors, now changing in preparation to leave the branch for the earth.
A collective return to earth through the element of air and waning light. I like the idea that Libraās sister sign Taurus is all about the earth awakening to itself again. Libra, however, is the air turning crisp, the verdant colors of spring and summer fade into wild vibrancy, almost fire-like, honoring the final harvests of the season.
