🔥♐️ Sagittarius season 🏹🔥

The centaur- the wandering savant, dare I say restless rambler, gamin’ gambler? 🤪

I should know this archetype well- my paternal grandma, strong and optimistic, was a Sag sun (she was quite tall, too). But I am still leaning into learning more about these sometimes sarcastic, wise crackers.

The Sagittarian symbol is an upward arrow - the half-man half-horse archetype pulls back this arrow, ready to fling and let fly. Ruled by Jupiter, driven by expansion, ever faithful, like the commitment of an arrow flying its course til the end. A word of caution: watch for over-exaggeration and rigid dogmas.

It’s go time. Sagittarius comes soaring out of the intense darkness of the 8th house, to occupy the 9th house of higher learning, spirituality, exploration, foreign travel and faith. This archetype aims high, wants to know, and wants to GO. It’s all about the adventure through multiple channels and destinations- the growth and expansion of wisdom through lived experience. The search for meaning in life is at the core of a centaur.

On the opposite axis flutters Gemini, somewhat of a student to the Sag… if the twins are about gathering information, the centaur is about integrating the information in search of wisdom. As a mutable fire sign, it wants a fair amount of variety, a repertoire of stories to tell around the bonfire of a late night party (for which Sagittarius is most definitely DJing 🎶).

What we can learn from Sagittarius- such a great deal. If only we could keep up. 🏃🏻‍♀️ May you gather with loved ones, friends and fam, and tell many stories around the proverbial bonfire of our wildest adventure- life.
